Another great performance by the Ronny North band!

Had to wait through some country acts...

and some band with Malibu Barbie singing...

and then this old fart singing fucking Disney movie songs (thought LOC was gonna jump out of his shoes when the old dude busted out into Pretty Woman though)....

stood around mocking the performers for the most part and praying for a power outtage...

looking for appropriate cords to trip over....

and it was dark by the time the boys finally hit the stage, but WOW was it worth the wait! You guys ROCK!!

I kinda feel sorry for that rapper guy that came on after you....he comes on and says "hey all my hip hop friends out there..." and it was like he gave the order to evacuate the premises. LOL

Jason, tell mama and the little man I said they rock too

Yes indeed, I have to agree completely with Chelle's review, the boys totally rocked the place... too bad the promoter didn't have a clue. Malibu Barbie... lemme see if I can paint the picture here... well, Malibu Barbie does it pretty damn well actually... I can't quite put my finger on it, but she reminded me of somebody; not quite sure who... some other female singer... not dead on, but close... just can't put my finger on who though... picture this chick, blonde hair, basically the barbie figure, probably 5'10" - 6'... those of you who saw Van Halen this last tour, when Shinedown was opening, you probably have some idea of the "show"... she kept trying to get "audience participation" going, and all 6 people in the audience kept looking at her like she'd just fallen off the moon or something. Didn't seem to matter, as when 2-3 people would finally "participate" (the promoter, the gal over at the table trying to sell "barbie's" t-shirts and CD's, and maybe one other person "barbie" thought this was just great, and seemed happy as a pig in fresh slop. They FINALLY get off the stage, and we're expecting Ronny, when this guy walks on stage who looks like... who looks like my High School History Teacher, walks on stage and starts... well, singing isn't really the word, I mean picture this, go down to the local K-Mart, and pick up a CD of "Sing-A-Long with Disney songs", put this on the sound system, and have the history teacher singing along to "A whole new world" from Aladdin, and you've got the idea. Then he does a duet with some gal who looked like Star Jones, then she sang a song or two on her own, then FINALLY, Ronny and the band get on stage, they do about four or five songs, and the promoter is giving them the signal "2 more songs..." then they put the rapper/hip-hop guy on, and as Chelle said, the place emptied. I really enjoyed Ronny's set, my only complaint was, it was too short. I'm looking forward to seeing them play again.
