Shit. I had to wait until today (payday) to try and get a ticket and now they're sold out. They still had tickets last night when I checked.

Yeah, that's gonna be a last resort though. I don't wanna end up paying $100 for a $20 ticket. I'm checking with the other Betty fans first to see if anyone has an extra ticket they'd sell me...

Just got word from Taylor (the bass player) that cameras WILL be allowed. Everyone there will get a signed photo of the band and get to meet-and-greet. I'll try to see if I can get an interview...

I have 3 extra tickets that were given to me, if anyone wants to come with me. Otherwise, I'll be giving them away at the venue.

I got a call from Chelle while she was at the event, let's just say would probably cover it nicely. I guess she did get to meet Constantine, and from the sound of her, you coulda picked her up with a sponge. Sounds like she'll have quite a bit to report upon her return.

Oh my gawd, you guys....he's even more gorgeous in person, if that's possible. The rest of the band is pretty cute too. But Constantine... I got to Hollywood around 2:30 and headed over to the Rainbow Bar & Grill (one of DLR's favorite hangouts) where all the Bettys were meeting for lunch. Got my name tag and met up with a couple ladies I'd been talking to online. One of them, Judy, had a room at the Bel Age Wyndham hotel down the street so me, her and another lady named Janice went over there and hung out for a few. Really nice hotel...if you're ever in Hollywood, I would highly recommend staying there. So anyways, after we had a chance to fix our hair and whatnot, we headed back over to the Key Club. There was already a bit of a line. We were given wristbands of different colors. People were allowed in for the meet-and-greet in groups of 50 at a time. I was in the 2nd group. Everyone one received a signed picture of the band as we walked in. Then, as our group was called, we would go upstairs and wait to meet the guys. So as I stood in line, I dismantled my name tag, took out the paper part of it and wrote my email address and the Tormented site address on the back of it. All four of the band members signed my CD. When I got to Constantine, I almost stumbled as he looked me right in the eye (melt), I handed him the paper with the site & email on it and told that I'd love to do an interview with him. He took the paper and stuck it somewhere (his pocket maybe) and said, "I'll do my best." Yeah, well, at least he didn't refer me to his "people" like DLR We were shuffled through the line pretty quickly and then went back downstairs to stake out our spot in front of the stage. After all the groups had gone through the meet-and-greet, the band played most of their album. I took a lot of pictures, I'm just hoping they turn out ok cuz the stage lighting was not exactly working in my favor. We'll see. Anyways, the band is really good. If you haven't checked out their music yet, you should give it a try. Forget the fact that he was on American Idol, this music has NOTHING to do with that. Oh, and I think our Al's Gals would like Hamboussi, the drummer. One thing I was totally fascinated with...a good percentage of the crowd was women my age and older. I had kind of expected a bunch of screaming teenage girls, but that was not the case. I even met one woman who was there with her 17 year old daughter. I asked her if the daughter had dragged her there and she said, "Actually, no, I dragged HER here." LOL I stuck around after the show, hoping to find out where the after-party was. I did finally find out, but it sounded as though Constantine wasn't going to be there (people "in the know" were saying he had AI tour rehearsals today and "shouldn't be showing up hungover" lol) It was already pretty late and my feet were killing me, so I decided to pass on the after party and just head home. They're supposed to tour in the Fall, after the AI tour is over. Here's the autographs...I'll post the pics ASAP...
