~~1st Major Concert Attended

Monterey Pop Festival 1967... I was 9 and had cool parents. Got to see Ravi
Shanker, Janis Joplin, Momma/Papas, Who, Grateful Dead and of course the
famous set by Jimi Hendrix when he lit his strat on fire and destroyed it
on
stage during Wild Thing.

~~Favorite Concert Attended

Day on the Green - Oakland, Ca 7/23/78 Van Halen, AC DC, Pat Travers,
Aerosmith, Foreigner. Also Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan w/ Eric Clapton,
BB
King, Jimmie Vaughan, Bonnie Raite, Buddy Guy, Double Trouble.

~~Biggest Concerts I've Performed At

1977 - Spring Festival Santa Cruz, Ca. 26,000 people. Band - CrossTown
Traffic we opened for The Dobbie Brothers & Edgar Winter Group. I was 19...
don't even remember playing the 1st 4 songs... was scared shitless. The
tapes showed we were stiff but were still hitting our licks.

1983 - Oakland Auditorium, Ca. 19,000 people, Band Mountain Wood, we opened
for The Marshall Tucker Band and The Outlaws. From there we joined the tour
for the rest of the west coast leg.

~~Most Memorable Musical Moments

Jamming w/ Carlos Santana in 1983 for about 2 hours at a private musicians
afterhours club in Berkeley, Ca.

Jamming w/ Jerry Garcia at a private party in 1982. Also met the members of
Journey at this party but that was less than exciting as they were being
jerks.

Doing studio work at the Sound Factory in San Francisco working with Greg
Kin Band, Eddie Money, Y & T, John Fogerty, & Huey Lewis.

Partying all night with the members of Molly Hatchet after doing sound for
them at the Saddle Rack in San Jose, Ca.

Meeting Stevie Ray Vaughan at Ray Hennings Heart of Texas Music and talking
music for about a half hour while he was checking out some amps and
watching
him just play around on the guitar.

Jamming with Blues Legend Roy Bucannon in the dressing room at the Keystone
Berkeley club when we opened for him once there.

Meeting BB King and talking for about an hour in the DFW airport.

who's eating who in the tank.

Just moved to Arkansas... I'm a hillbilly with a Texas attitude and a
California smoothness. heh heh heh

Mexican hot of course, Beef Fajita's, Cherrios and Tuna Noodle Casaroll

Yep... several and the school and a police car

~~Ever loved somebody so much it made you cry?

Yep, my current wife and all 5 of my kids.

~~Ever been in a car accident?

Yep a few. Only 1 was my fault... fell asleep driving at 4am once missed a
turn and me and my VW bug rolled 5 times. Lucky to have walked away from
that one. Also had a fool slam me with his car door while driving between
lanes in California traffic on an old Harley Shovelhead... ping-ponged off
of 6 cars before laying it down under an 18 wheeler. Had a lot of cuts and
bruises. The bastard that did was over-taken by several other motorists
that
saw what he did. Got the crap beat outta him before the cops arrived... was
arrested and served 2 years in jail for assault... yeah!! Justice!!!
