Clarence 'CJ' Jacobs

CJHow do I start this and describe myself. I guess first and formost is a reliable parent to my six kids. No matter what, if I can, I am there for them as best as I can; I can't do any more than support them the best as I can.

Beyond that, I am a nice guy who seems to have made the decisions in life that have put me here in my 41st year where I am today. Easy, laid back, gentleman, smart, smart-ass, and all around nice guy. I usually take the middle road and have few, if any, enemies (do ex-wives count?).

My kids are various ages, and all give me youth and headaches. My 21 year old daughter is due on November 11th with my first grandchild (a girl). I also have boys at age 19, 14, 11, and 5, and my youngest child is a girl of age 3. Even though I share custody with both ex-wives, my oldest four children live with or near their mom in Arizona, and the youngest two live closeby here in Alta Loma.

CJ Ladies Man

By day, I am a computer programmer. I write and modify code for a medium sized company in Ontario, California. Talk about reliable, I have been with them now for 23 + years. I worked my way from the shipping floor to where I am today. I believe the experience I gained has been a valuable asset in my skills. Practical knowledge really seems to help.

After the kids, my biggest passion is NASCAR. I came to love the sport when I was really young, maybe 7 or 8 years old. At that time, the only recap of the race was on the Wide World of Sports on Saturday's, where (If I was able to watch the TV even) I caught highlights from the previous week's race. My parents took me and my brother to the Saturday night events at our local track, the 605 Speedway in Irwindale, CA, and it was and has been imprinted on my mind ever since. My favorite all-time driver would have to be Richard Petty who would always just 'get-er-done'. I'm sure that meeting him when I was young also bias's my opinion. I have named three of my children after drivers.

CJ Family

Also as a youth, I spent summers with my grandparents in Idaho. I think in retrospect, it has built me as a person. I always have liked the open, and the respect of people that occurs when I am there. People know each other and are not afraid to look each other in the eye. A bit slower and more comfortable. My parents have moved from So. California to Idaho, and I always enjoy visiting. Now when I visit, I hope it instills some of the values I learned onto them.

Biggest life changing event, recently, is that I've met and hooked up with an amazing young lady from my past. 2nd grade elementary past that is. The reason we remeber each other so well is that we were born in the same hospital in Kansas. We were classmates, and drifted apart over the years, never dated, but met once again via the internet where she found me. I had been at a low (divorce from wife #2), and we met and things just seem to fall into place. Maybe because we came from the same neighborhood. Who knows, but we are happy.

Where were you born/raised?
I was born in Kansas, but when my father got out of the military, we moved as a family to the land of opportunity in California before my first birthday.

Where is Alta Loma?
It is about 30 miles East of downtown Los Angeles. It is actually a part of Rancho Cucamonga, with neighbor cities of Fontana, Ontario, and Upland. CJ Pirate

Any pets?
None at this time. Favorite would have to be dogs, followed by fish, and then cats.

Any tattoo's or piercings?
I just got my first tattoo in August of 'Herbie the Love Bug's' #53 with red and blue stripes. In October, I added crossed checkered flags. My mom and dad don't know this yet.

What are your music influences?
Beleive it or not, high school band. I played the clarinet thru elementary, junior high, HS, and college. It was just an enjoyable outing that I participated with a bunch of other kids. It exposed me to many different elements of music and appreciation

Favorite concerts?
I always love to see L.O.C (been a while, but I do plan on making it again), but I have only been to two big theatre concerts, Tim McGraw and Toby Keith. They were both enjoyable, and I look forward to going to more. I've also seen several live performances at the fair or other special events (ZZ Top, and Sugarland come to mind quickly to my recent past). I do have to say that live is much better than any album or radio.

Any last words?
Sorry to SoCalChelle for taking this to the very last minute. I didn't expect to be out of town as much as I was this month. I am a procrastinator as it is. I always try not to be a stranger. Have a great one!
